AVST Hydrating Lotion softens and smoothes body skin while improving moisture content

Environ Skin Care's AVST Hydrating Lotion is a neutralised lactic acid based body lotion containing medium levels of alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) that are safe, gentle and non-toxic and pH adjusted for optimal effectiveness. It is delicately fragranced with Bitter Orange.

It works by assisting the natural exfoliating function, leading to a clearer skin with greater resilience and a finer texture. It helps to safely and effectively soften and smooth the body skin while improving moisture content.

The lotion replenishes the skin’s natural acidity helping to prevent a build-up of bacteria, which can cause blemishes. It can also help prevent ingrown hairs and is thus useful to prepare for leg and bikini line waxing treatments, making hair removal easier.

Hydrating Lotion is particularly effective as a preparation for treating excessive sun damage on the body when used in conjunction with Environ’s vitamin-based body oil. Skin treated with both products appears more youthful and is firmer and tauter.

Uneven pigmentation problems may also benefit from using AVST Hydration Lotion. The formulation is such that the surface of the protective ‘horny’ layer is maintained and not peeled, and acts as a natural skin lightener, minimising production of melanin for an even tone. It does not contain a sunscreen and should be used together with a sunscreen of SPF15 or higher.
