Bubble and Balm's natural liquid soaps carry the Fairtrade Mark
(30/03/2010)
Made in the UK using traditional methods and Fairtrade sugar, Bubble & Balm is the world’s first range of natural liquid soaps carrying the Fairtrade Mark, which means a better deal for sugar farmers in Malawi and Zambia.
Available in three varieties, consumers can choose calming lavender, refreshing citrus or bug-busting anti-bacterial, which is effective against MRSA, E-coli and other nasties.
The entire range is naturally formulated with plant and essential oils, and enhanced with glycerine to soothe and moisturise. Conspicuous by their absence from the ingredients list are synthetics such as parabens, sodium lauryl sulphate and phthalates – truly, naturally good.
With UK made 100% recycled plastic bottles and stylish packaging design, each 250ml bottle of glycerine-enriched gorgeousness retails at £4.35.
Sue Acton, managing director and founder of Bubble & Balmcomments: “Our brand new liquid soaps are the first of their kind, and like all our products, offer customers a unique combination of everyday luxury and the feel-good factor. We know that an increasing number of people care about where and how products are produced; they also care about product quality and value. Bubble & Balm is all about the ‘and’ not the ‘or’. Our products are Fairtrade certified and UK made, natural and effective, with green packaging and great packaging, gorgeous and fantastic value. There are no compromises.”
Bubble & Balm’s new liquid soaps can be used as a body wash as well as a hand wash, and are available at independent retailers or online.
