Elizabeth Hallett, founder of Elizabeth’s Daughter, has suffered with skin problems since her teenage years. Over the years, she struggled to find products to suit her skin, which had been made more sensitive by the assorted, so-called cure-all products and treatments which had promised, but never delivered, blemish-free skin. Not wishing her own teenage daughter to experience the same distressing experiences, Elizabeth set out to create a premium and natural skincare range providing beautiful, gentle and effective care designed for young girls and sensitive-skinned grown-ups.

Having worked in the beauty arena for many years, Elizabeth was able to ask some of the best botanical experts available to help achieve her goal. All products are formulated using a high level of natural ingredients – on average 95% - including vitamins, minerals and proteins. The formulas do not contain parabens, sulphates or petrochemicals which can be irritants. Using both innovative and well-trusted ingredients sourced from all over the globe with respect for their environments, the products are tested on teenage girls and sensitive-skinned adults (never on animals).

The Daily Moisturiser SPF15 for face & body 150ml - £24
A light, daily moisturiser for face and body with SPF15 protection. Due to an innovative extraction method, whole Fresh Pumpkin cells, containing maximum levels of active anti-oxidant goodness, burst with moisture on contact with the skin, whilst also adding repairing and soothing actions. Pumpkin is one of the vegetables highest in anti-oxidant Beta-carotene resulting in protective properties to help repair, moisturize and soothe. Rice Bran and Sesame Seed Oils are rich sources of Vitamin E and antioxidants and help provide natural sun protection. Shea Butter leaves skin velvety smooth.

The Intensive Moisturiser 100ml - £26
A rich rescue therapy to help calm sensitised or dry skin. Nourishing Sacha Inchi Oil and Tahitian Monoi have been used for centuries to treat extremely dry skin conditions by giving an instant moisture surge. Sacha Inchi Oil a star-shaped fruit from Peru with seeds extremely rich in Omegas 3, 6 & 9 and fatty acids, (83% compared to only 31% in fish oil). Certified organic, it is sustainably harvested from the rain forests, providing valuable income for local farmers. Also contains Australian Kakadu Plum Extract which has an exceptionally high Vitamin C content (one fruit is equal to ten oranges!) creating a powerful anti-inflammatory action. Revered for thousands of years by the Aborigines as a medicinal food, the fruit is wild-harvested in a sustainable way without degradation to the environment. Apricot Kernel Oil, Mango Butter and Argan Oil also help to leave skin relieved and nurtured.

The Facial Cream Cleanser 100ml - £15
A creamy cleanser to help leave skin gently cleansed without drying, smooth and soft. Organic Kalahari Watermelon Seed Oil is rich in vitamins, minerals and proteins to moisturise and protect young and delicate skin. Derived from the seeds of the watermelon found in the Kalahari region in southern Africa, it is resilient to drought and has traditionally been used for its moisturising and regenerating properties. The seeds have a long history of use as a cosmetic, after grinding they are moistened and then smeared over the body, which is said to impart a blemish-free complexion. The seeds comprise 50% oil to 35% protein and contain vitamins C, B2 and G. Certified organic, it is harvested under Fair Trade conditions. This combines with exotic Orchid Extract and Lady Thistle Oil, known for their emollient and antioxidant properties, Vitamins B and E provide anti-inflammatory and anti-irritant effects and Cocoa Extract helps balance and energises the skin.

The Facial Gel Cleanser 100ml - £15
A refreshing, wash-off gel to help leave skin bright and smooth. Aloe Vera Leaf Juice releases its natural moisturising properties in a base of mild vegetable-derived actives which gently cleanse the skin and help moisturise and restructure the skin by improving its water reserves and limiting further water loss. Fresh Kiwi cells, rich in Vitamins C and E, burst on contact with the skin, retaining their potent goodness due to this special method of delivery, protecting young skin from pollution and the elements.

The Toner 100ml - £14
A refreshing lotion to lift last traces of impurities post cleansing. Fresh Strawberry Cells & Strawberry Juice contain natural toning and purifying properties. A clever extraction method ensures that the fresh cells remain intact, only ‘bursting’ on contact with skin. Aloe Vera Gel is healing and moisturising whilst Witch Hazel is a well-known gentle astringent. Multi-minerals help restore radiance and give better toned, healthier-looking skin.

The Purifying Mask 100ml - £26
A gentle deep cleansing mask to purify the skin, help eliminate toxins and reduce skin inflammation. Lime Seed Oil contains Omegas 3, 6 and 9 which help support tissue regeneration, improve skin condition and are particularly effective at calming inflamed skin. Amazonian White Clay is extremely rich in mineral salts, helps to eliminate toxins, and contains unique nutrients to fight against free radicals. Sourced from the Rain Forest, it is certified as coming from sustainable development and a well-managed Biodiversity Enhancement programme incorporating local communities. Plant extracts from Great Burdock and Erysiumum have proven sebo-regulating and antiseptic properties to help balance skin.

The Eye Make-up Remover 100ml - £14
A highly effective, gentle, refreshing formula to remove eye make-up and leave the eye area clear and bright. Anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant Pomegranate Extract combines with Vitamins C and E obtained from whole, fresh Kiwi Fruit cells helping to protect and nourish the delicate eye contour area. As well as being rich in vitamins C & E, kiwi is also high in polyphenols. These act in synergy making it a fruit with one of the highest protective activity levels and in-vitro tests have shown the fresh cells have good anti-oxidant activity, making it ideal to help protect young, delicate skin. Aloe Vera Leaf Juice and Rose Water gently refreshes, leaving skin soft and comforted.

The Skin Spritz 50ml - £18
Aloe Vera Leaf Juice and Rose Water gently refresh while fresh Strawberry cells release their active toning and purifying action on contact with skin. The strawberry cells help protect the moisturizing capital of the skin; the gentle extraction method maintains the mineral salts of magnesium and calcium present in the fresh fruit. Naturally occurring glycoproteins from Yerba Santa (commonly known as Mountain Balm or Holy Herb) help leave skin moisturised and silky smooth.

The Soothing & Glossing Balm 50ml - £18
Conditions and nourishes lips and areas of dry skin in extra need of TLC – lips, hands, nails, cheeks, feet, elbows. Luxurious Apricot Butter softens and glosses, Shea Butter and Aloe Vera protect and soften, whilst Rose Hip Seed Oil with its high Vitamin A content, is ideal for young and sensitive skin. Also contains Meadowfoam which is high in naturally occurring in Vitamin E giving excellent moisturising properties.

Water Lily Extract, also known as “Queen of the Lake”, has exceptional protective and moisturising properties. Pearl Extract, a marine complex based on Pearl Powder and Sea Mineral Water, is used for its mineral and amino acid benefits and is known to help improve the metabolism and protect against the damaging effects of the environment.
