A recent report conducted by Campaign for Safe Cosmetics caused parents around the world to become concerned that dozens of popular bath products for babies and children actually contain two well known contaminants: 1, 4-dioxane and formaldehyde, both of which can cause cancer in animals and can cause skin rashes in people sensitive to the chemical. The added concern was that in many cases neither of these contaminants are listed in the ingredients.

For parents who want to use completely safe and natural products for their babies and children the Natural Health Practice has introduced a great range of products all of which carry Dr Marilyn Glenville’s seal of approval.

Dr Marilyn Glenville, PhD said "I was horrified, but sadly not surprised when I read the report. When it comes to choosing products for our children we know that only the most natural products will do. But many products are marketed in such a way that we believe they are safe and natural when the truth is somewhat different. Babies are especially sensitive to allergies caused by synthetic fragrance and many baby products on the market contain parabens, synthetic fragrance, SLS and mineral oils, which are not good for the skin."

"60% of what is applied to the skin can be absorbed; being smaller, babies and children have a bigger total skin area (about 2.5 times greater than adults per unit of body weight). This means that exposure is more problematic but by using organic baby and children’s products you can limit the amount of toxic chemicals they’re exposed to."

The Natural Health Practice has a wide range of products all of which have been awarded Dr Glenville’s Gold Seal of Approval. The product range includes:
