UK Beauty Awards 2009 to be announced at Clothes Show London

The UK Beauty Awards 2009 are a showcase of the UK’s beauty products, acknowledging the industry’s finest products, fragrances and organic products. The awards aim to find and celebrate the very best products within the industry, setting the standard for superiority and giving consumers the confidence to buy quality products on the market.

Featuring ten different categories, beauty PR agencies have been invited to nominate products. Entries will be short listed by an esteemed panel of experts before battling it out for recognition in a public vote.

Best New Beauty Product of the Year, Best New Fragrance of the Year, Best Celebrity Fragrance of the Year, Best New Cosmetic of the Year, Best New Hair Product of the Year, Best New Body Care Product of the Year, Best New Skin Care Product of the Year and Organic Beauty Product of the Year in Partnership with the Soil Association will be assessed on the quality and efficiency of the product, unique selling points, innovation and originality. In addition the Classic Awards – Classic Beauty Product of the Year and Classic Fragrance of the Year - will be determined by timeless quality.

Category winners will be announced at a glamorous gala event in Clothes Show London’s Fashion Theatre at London’s ExCeL on Friday 29May 2009.

The award ceremony audience will comprise of hundred’s of the fashion and beauty industry’s most respected celebrities, make-up artists, industry experts and fashion and beauty PR’s.

Recognised across the beauty industry’s experts and magazines, The UK Beauty Awards are supported overall by Diary Directory, the definitive fashion, beauty and lifestyle information service for media professionals.

The Clothes Show Beauty Awards are part of the Clothes Show London awards programme, designed to highlight the proliferation of fashion and beauty talent across the UK.
